Música de Carnaval? Esta!

Madrugada de sábado para domingo. Eu aqui, degustando Neon Bible, o CD novo do Arcade Fire. Ok, pelo que sei, nem foi lançado oficialmente, mas vocês sabem... as coisas vazam na rede e há a ânsia dos fãs de bandas que estão para lançar um novo trabalho. Com Arcade Fire não é diferente, ainda bem. Produzido e mais limpo que seu antecessor, o fabuloso Funeral (2004), o disquinho é, desde já, candidato sério a melhor do ano, ao menos pra mim.

O fato é que aqui estou, nesta madrugada de Carnaval, ouvindo repetidamente Neon Bible. A música que encerra o CD já é algo a mais para mim: uma música que me define, de certa forma, em algum aspecto. E havia gostado antes de entender a letra, que está aí abaixo. Degustem:
